A post from within the contiguous United States

Joshua loves to use Merle as an armchair, horse, stepping stool, and pillow.  Merle has learned to lay still until Joshua's attention has been redirected elsewhere.  Good ol' Merle!

So, it's been a while since I posted last.  It's amazing to me that my husband, with spotty internet access, can post much more frequently than I can manage with a constant connection.  May have something to do with a certain 1 year old and me needing as much sleep as him once he goes to bed... hmm... maybe.  Tonight, however, I have energy to post and a small break in housework to grant me a little time to share some updates and photos.

Joshua really liked the Tubbs goody bag.  It's pink, what seems to be his favorite color!

My soon to be escape artist.

Joshua has deemed Tater Tot casserole and okay kind of food.  Note how he leaves the veggies and fruit alone entirely.  Still working on those becoming okay kinds of food and anything other than ground meat and pasta or potatoes.

Joshua has figured out how to tuck his blanket between his legs and suck on it while walking around the house.  Thankfully we have 4 of these blankets so he gets a clean one every day.  Sometimes, twice a day depending upon what he dragged it through.

Reading his Valentine from Grandma and Papa.  He loves the card because the front has a moving scene where Snoopy give Charlie Brown the valentine and then kisses him on the nose.  Joshua loves moving the card so he can watch the action!

Hmm... what can I fit under this lid?

One morning, Joshua had so much fun standing behind his chair shaking the straps and then holding onto them and leaning backwards.

Wow, little Joshua is so cute and curious! What a little explorer. :) I love the high chair photo ... ooh, messy! Sebastian has become a really good eater lately, gobbling up entire jars at a time. And now he's starting on Cheerios and other fun finger foods - yay!

I love how Joshua carries his blanket - so funny! Sounds like you're having lots of fun with him. Does he miss Daddy? I am also impressed with Brad's posting! It's pretty cool to see posts from both sides of the world.
